Meet Our Team

Lya Hall

Operations Managing Director/ Support Worker

I grew up in Bolton in Lancashire and ended up moving to Liverpool to study Accounting and Finance at University and later pursued a career in public sector accounting/audit as I wanted to have a career that would enable me to give back to the community.

A few years ago, I set up a property management business where I managed high quality shared accommodation houses for professionals working in the Preston area. Whilst I enjoyed working with professional tenants, I felt it was time for me to follow my passion and use my management skills to help those less fortunate in the community so I joined a well established supported housing organization known as Community Interventions. Community Interventions gave me the perfect opportunity to fulfill my passion of working with vulnerable people. I worked as a house manager supporting a number of service users with everyday tasks such as registering with GP, booking appointments, arranging methadone scripts, signing up for a college course, etc.

As the Managing Director for Trentway, my vision for the area is to help put an end to rough sleepers by creating a person centred support package to suit the individual’s needs. This will be achieved by working with local agencies, government authorities and employers in order to provide key support to our clients and help improve their lives.

Michael Brown

Consulting Managing Director

I left school with seven GCSEs, however, uninspired by life my thinking, attitude and behaviour became damaging to myself, my loved ones and society. My obsessive and compulsive behaviour led to numerous destructive habits.

Through numerous rehabilitation programmes I began to explore the reasons behind my destructive behaviour and came to the understanding that my anti-social activities were a temporary solution to the discontentment in my life, driven by fear, resentment and selfishness.
In order to rehabilitate, I had to be vigorously honest with myself and still do, enabling me to find a positive direction in my life and breaking the cycle of destructive thinking, attitude and behaviour.

I am very enthusiastic and passionate in sharing my experiences and solutions with a view to be of benefit and service to others and those who may well be affected. The outcome I wish for is that those, especially the youth, give pause for thought and turn off the road to perdition and become positive, constructive and productive members of society. No matter how far down the road of destruction one may feel they have gone, change for the better is possible.

Margaret O’Riley

Specialist Keyworker

I was born in Cheadle and spent most of my life there until a few years ago when I moved further into the City. For many years, I was involved with charitable organisations which supported people from all backgrounds.

For the last 15 years I have worked in the care sector where I became a care home assistant practitioner supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities, then moving onto caring for the elderly.

I felt as though I had now reached a time in my life where I felt it was time for me to move on and when an opportunity came to support individuals who are less fortunate than myself, I knew this was a position I had to take.

As Key Worker at Trentway I support individuals to make a difference to their daily lifestyle so that they can go on to live independently and prosper in the community.
